I often refer to The Invasion of Normandy or D-Day when discussing tactic and strategy with my team.  The tactic was invading Normandy and attacking on 2 fronts.  The strategy was ending the war.  This analogy works well in business and in life.  For instance, in sales, if sales reps don’t pursue a customer by way of phone AND email, chances are good they will lose the deal.  Attacking on two fronts wins deals.  Call it relentless pursuit, professionally persistent or anything else you want.  It works!

A 2 prong approach often covers all bases and will set you apart from your competition.  I preach and teach these tactics and more to teams, organizations and individuals around the world.
